The Singhal Foundation follows a high-quality, fair, and confidential process to select winners in each category.

The winners are chosen through a three-stage process:

  • Stage 1: At the preliminary level, applications are reviewed based on eligibility and criteria, and qualifying applications are shortlisted.
  • Stage 2: A recommendation committee of Ved experts evaluates the shortlisted applications. The identities of Utkrishta Vedvidyarthi, teachers, and schools are kept anonymous during this process. The committee creates a list of potential winners based solely on the information provided in the application form. Therefore, filling the application form completely and accurately is extremely important.
  • Stage 3: A senior jury panel of distinguished Ved scholars from all four Veds reviews the shortlisted candidates. Before making the final decision, the jury may conduct site visits to the selected Ved schools and interview the shortlisted teachers and students.

The names of the winners of the Bharatatma Awards are announced only at the time of the award ceremony. Until then, the names are kept strictly confidential.
